Classic Kat 150 cpsi
Der Classic Katalysator mit 150 cpsi Metall Monolith wurde zur Verbesserung der Abgaswerte klassischer Fahrzeu-
ge vor Einführung der KFZ-Katalysatortechnik hergestellt. Für eine optimale Abgasführung wurde der Kat mit einem
kurzen Eingangskonus zur Motorenseite hin und einem etwas verlängertem Ausgangskonus ausgestattet. Damit
der Katalysator einwandfrei funktioniert, ist es notwendig, die Montage in unmittelbarer Nähe des Motors (innerhalb 1
Meters) vorzunehmen, um damit eine Mindest-Betriebstemperatur von 280°C zu ermöglichen.
Classic Kat 150 cpsi
The classic catalytic converter with 150 cpsi metal monolith was made to improve the exhaust emissions of classic
vehicles built before the vehicle catalytic converter technology was introduced. To optimise the exhaust flow the cata-
lytic converter features a short input cone towards the engine side and a slightly extended output cone. To achieve
the catalytic converter’s highest efficiency, it is necessary to install it near to the engine (max. 1 metre distance) to
ensure the minimum operating temperature of 280°C.
